Proton 40 completes successful Sea Trial
Franeker, Netherlands – We are proud to announce that the first sea trial of the Proton 40 has been successfully completed. The latest addition to our range.
Powered by two Volvo D6-440 DPI engines, the Proton 40 reached an impressive top speed of 43 knots. Thanks to its deep V-hull design, the yacht offers exceptional stability and maneuverability, even at high speeds. The test not only confirmed the yacht’s powerful performance but also its efficiency.

With a weight of just 9.7 tons (half-loaded), thanks to its lightweight aluminum construction, the Proton 40 consumes only 70 liters of fuel per hour at a cruising speed of 25 knots. This sets a new benchmark for efficient sailing within its class.
With the successful sea trial completed, the Proton 40 is ready to be experienced. That’s why we warmly invite you to the Proton Experience Day, which will take place in mid-May. During this event, you will have the opportunity to take a test ride and experience firsthand the unmatched performance, comfort, and craftsmanship of the Proton 40.
